The Great 9,5° earthquake of Chile of 1960

Concetp of project. Script and design for an travelling exhibition about the collective memories of the earthquake of 1960 through participative design methodologies.

One of the stages of the project consisted in creating spaces of dialogue with locals in order to include their own perspectives, photographs and archives in the exhibition.

Additional pieces of this project were a website, a book and a communication campaign as a public commemorate invitation.
The traveling exhibition was in different neighborhoods for a year, in the south of Chile. 
The images were exhibited without explanations to encourage relationship and interaction among community members about what was remembered, where, how...
